Privacy policy
This site collects nothing from you. The detail below explains what that means precisely, and what our hosting provider records at the server level.
Summary
We do not use cookies. We do not run analytics. We do not serve advertising. There are no user accounts, no newsletter, no forms, and no payments. We do not sell, rent, or share information about visitors with anyone, because we do not have any to share.
The one exception is ordinary server logging by our hosting provider, described below. We would rather state that plainly than claim a privacy absolutism that is not technically true.
What is collected

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and there is nothing on this site designed to be attractive to them.
Retention
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule, which is measured in days, not years. We do not export, archive, or separately retain them.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not track visitors across time or across third-party sites under any circumstances, so there is no behavior for the signal to change. We do not respond to it differently because there is nothing to respond to. We also do not permit third parties to collect information about visitors on this site.
Your rights
Several US states grant residents rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale of their personal information. Those rights attach to personal information a business holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to us and we will look.
Archived material is different from visitor data
This is the part worth reading carefully. Sunshine Archive collects and republishes public government web pages. Those pages sometimes contain information about named individuals — an official’s name in a staff directory, a person named in a public meeting agenda, an address in a permit notice. That material is:
- published by a government agency, not by us;
- public record under Florida law at the time it was captured; and
- recorded because the fact that it was published, and later changed or removed, is itself the thing this archive exists to preserve.
We do not build profiles of individuals, do not aggregate mentions of a person across sources, and do not offer people-search functionality. If archived material concerns you and you believe it should not remain public, see Removal requests in our terms. We review every request and may remove or restrict material at our discretion.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and note what changed. We do not have a mailing list to notify, by design.
